about

Acoustic pop ballad

lyrics

DAVID AND GOLIATH T Randle
For I know your face so well,
and the lines with tales to tell
For I know you are not strong,
but I’ll try to help you carry on

And for Joy we know he sings
Songs of innocence, memories of springs
And Pat-a-cake will wear his ring,
Queen of his heart
But to his maker now he clings

David weep for Goliath
For he was good, brave and strong
Raise your hands in surrender
He is safe
He is where he belongs

There’s a faint breeze in the air
I will help her wash you bare
As the decorations dance
One last look,
One final glance

Their worlds collided at the Sydney Conservatorium where both were studying that lesser-known folk sub genre – jazz.
