Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

Written by Robert Hazard.

Performed by Eyreton Hall.

Come home in the morning light,

My mother says “When you gonna live your life right?”

“Oh mother dear we’re not the fortunate ones,

and girls they wanna have fun”.

Oh girls, they wanna have fun.

Phone rings in the middle of night,

My father yells “What you gonna do with your life?”

“Oh Daddy dear you know you’re still number one,

and girls they wanna have fun”.

Oh girls, they wanna have fun.

That’s all they really want.

That’s all.

When the working day is done,

oh girls they wanna have fun.

Oh girls they wanna have fun.

Some boys take a beautiful girl and hide her away from the world.

I want to be the one who walks in the sun,

And girls they wanna have fun.

Oh girls they wanna have fun.

That’s all the really want.

That’s all.

When the working day is done,

oh girls they wanna have fun.

Oh girls they wanna have fun.

That’s all the really want.

That’s all.

When the working day is done,

oh girls they wanna have fun.

Fun!

about

Eyreton Hall Auckland, New Zealand

Andrew Keegan and Toni Randle are the alt folk duo, Eyreton Hall.
From different parts of the antipodes, Toni, born in Christchurch and Andy in Sydney. Toni had a misspent youth filled with dancing, singing and piano lessons. Andy played big band drums and busked every weekend.
Their worlds collided at the Sydney Conservatorium where both were studying that lesser-known folk sub genre – jazz.
