about

Old school piano pop - with naughty horns and squeeze box for good measure.

lyrics

THE MARRIAGE T Randle
You and I, we disagree
Except on that one thing which we agree

You and I see things differently
Except on that one thing which we see similarly
Except for that
And that’s okay with me

You’re always stubborn when I’m always right
And sometimes I’m stubborn when maybe you’re always right too
You see the grass as much greener elsewhere
And I look at elsewhere and feel tired just thinking of the mowing
Except for that
And that’s okay with me
And that’s okay with me

And sometimes you plug in my phone without me even asking
And sometimes I let you sleep in even though I’m plain exhausted
And sometimes you hold my hand when my doubt is crushing explicit
And sometimes you close all the doors but I wait it out, as I calmly put back the scissors

And that’s okay with me
And that’s okay with me

Sometimes I just look at you and I know
That you know, and knowing that you do
Well that’s okay
With me
THE MARRIAGE T Randle
You and I, we disagree
Except on that one thing which we agree

You and I see things differently

about

Eyreton Hall Auckland, New Zealand

Andrew Keegan and Toni Randle are the alt folk duo, Eyreton Hall.
From different parts of the antipodes, Toni, born in Christchurch and Andy in Sydney. Toni had a misspent youth filled with dancing, singing and piano lessons. Andy played big band drums and busked every weekend.
Their worlds collided at the Sydney Conservatorium where both were studying that lesser-known folk sub genre – jazz.
