Acoustic beginnings and harmony laden endings

lyrics

JUST IN CASE ALLELUJAH
T Randle
Sun on my back in the morning
Yes I am afraid of dying
Leaving behind all my treasures
Yes I am afraid of dying

Would not the birds stop their chorus?
Would not the trees in the forest – stop bow their heads to acknowledge a life,
A life well spent, a life with intent?
No they would not

For all the years that I’ve wasted
Yearning for more than I’ve tasted
Failing to be in the moment
Yes I am afraid of dying

Would not the birds stop their chorus?
Would not the trees in the forest – stop bow their heads to acknowledge a life,
A life well spent, a life with intent?
No they would not
Would not the rain’s salty sorrows
Fall from forlorn faded skies?
All in a bid to acknowledge a life,
A life well spent, a life with intent
No they would not

Faultless, Faceless
Feathered, Flightless
Gleamed, Glistening
Allelujah, Allelujah
Tread without trace, Walk with grace
Allelujah, Allelujah
Scarlet, splendour
Allelujah, Allelujah

about

Eyreton Hall Auckland, New Zealand

Andrew Keegan and Toni Randle are the alt folk duo, Eyreton Hall.
From different parts of the antipodes, Toni, born in Christchurch and Andy in Sydney. Toni had a misspent youth filled with dancing, singing and piano lessons. Andy played big band drums and busked every weekend.
Their worlds collided at the Sydney Conservatorium where both were studying that lesser-known folk sub genre – jazz.
